CHARLES CLARK DEAD;
RESIDED HERE 46 YEARS

Charles Clark, a resident of Haynes township for 46 years, died suddenly Sunday morning.
He had been around the premises as usual and was sitting in his home when suddenly he was seized with an attack of heart trouble and lived but a few minutes thereafter.
Mr. Clark was born in Edinborough, Scotland, on September 24, 1949, making him just past 76 years of age when he died.
He came to Alcona county in 1879 after a residence in Canada where he was married in 1868 to Elizabeth Miller, who survives. There are also six surviving children--William of Rogers City, Henry and Mrs. Bessie Armstrong of Haynes, Mrs. Annie Genge of Onaway, Mrs. Ida Landon of Alberta, and Mrs. Lulu Hetherington of Forest, Ont.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p. m., Rev. C. M. Boyce officiating. Burial was made in Mt. Joy Cemetery.
