WEDDING BELLS.
Reynolds-Sisson.--The marriage of Mr. Fred C. Reynolds to Miss Laura A. Sisson was solemnized at the M. E. church Thursday evening, June 27th, in the presence of a house full of invited guests, every seat having been reserved. A large number not knowing this came to the church and expressed great disappointment when they learned that all the seats had been reserved. The groom was assisted by Messrs. W. L. Chapelle and H. A. Joughlin, all being dressed in conventional black. The bride, looking very charming in a cream silk dress and white bridal veil, came in on the arm of her grandfather, Mr. J. Peterson. The maids of honor were the bride's sister, Miss May Sisson, and her aunt, Miss Myrtle Peterson. They were also dressed in white silk and the bride and maids carried bouquets of natural flowers. The ushers were Messrs. A. N. Springer and Geo. E. Gillam. The wedding ceremony was performed by the pastor of the church, Rev. W. J. Bailey, and took place under an arch of evergreens. The church had been tastefully decorated for the occasion with potted plants, evergreens, ribbon, etc. and looked very attractive. On the rear wall and facing the bridal couple a large horseshoe of evergreen enclosing the motto "Bonum fortuna."
Following the ceremony a reception was given at Lakeside from 9 to 10 p. m. and a number of guests repaired thither to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds. The newly married couple had their arrangements made to begin housekeeping and after the reception they were driven to their new home on South Lake street, where they are now at home to their many friends.
The groom, as all know, is a Harrisville boy by birth and he is in every way worthy of the hand and heart of his lovely bride. The bride came from North Platte, Neb., two years ago, but during her short residence she has endeared herself to a large circle of friends. Since coming to Harrisville she has united with the M. E. church and as an officer the member of the C. E. Society and worked faithfully and zealously.
