Martin--Murch.
One of those extremely pleasant events which occur to the average mortal once in a lifetime took place on Thursday morning, May 14th last at Harrisville and caused not a little ripple of excitement among the younger maidens and bashful swain. It is almost unnecessary to state then that the event was a marriage, the contracting parties being C. M. Murch and Miss Joanna M. Martin (second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Martin) all of Black River. The bride was a picture of loveliness, being attired in cream silk. She was attended by Miss Anna Collins, while the groom was supported by Frank Martin, brother of the bride.
The bridal party, attended by a large number of friends, repaired to the residence of the bride's parents. The bride was the recipient of many handsome and valuable presents.
Mr. and Mrs. Murch will take up their residence in Black River. The Review and O. O. Jr., together with the many friends of the couple, wish them all happiness.
