Death of John Park.
John Park, one of the pioneer residents of Mikado, died at his residence near that village last Friday afternoon, aged about 45 years, of dropsy. The deceased leaves a wife and four children who are provided for by a policy of $2,000 in the Maccabees, which order he joined last year. The deceased was one of those big-hearted, generous, whole-souled men who make friends wherever they go, and hosts of friends mourn his untimely demise. He was buried Sunday according to the rites of the Knights of Maccabees, he being an honored member of Mikado Tent No. 13.
