MRS. MARGARET MILLER
--------
Mrs. Margaret Miller, relict of William Miller, died Friday night at her home in Harrisville. Death came suddenly at 11:30 o'clock after only a few minutes of illness.
Members of the family from Lincoln and Haynes spent the evening with their mother and had left for their home only a short while when Mrs. Miller complained of a pain in her head and laid down. The doctor was called but the patient was beyond human aid and passed away in a few minutes.
Margaret Quinlan Miller would have been 66 years of age January 29, had she lived. Forty-six years ago she married William Miller, who passed away March 1, 1918. They were prominent citizens of Haynes township and Alcona village for many years. They were the parents of ten children, nine of whom survive, as follows: Wm. T. Miller of Haynes; Mrs. Mary William of Dillon Mont.; Mrs. Lillie Johnson, of Haynes, Henry of Lincoln, Vean W. of Saginaw; Mrs. Velma Rasche of Black River; Mrs. Josephine Tuttle of Chicago; Ralph at home, and Harold of Jackson, Mich. All of the children, except Mrs. William, were here for the funeral. There are also three living brothers and four sisters--Patrick Quinlin of Spokane, Wash.; Maurice of Bayfield, Wis.; Thomas of Harrisville, and Mrs. Kate Archer of Chicago; Mrs. Marie Rouse of Indianapolis, Ind.; Mrs. Franz Kuntz of Milwaukee, Wis.; Miss Josie Quinlin, who lived at the Miller home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from St. Ann's R. C. church, Rev. J. W. Delehanty officiating. Interment was made in the family lot at Mt. Joy cemetery.
