A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mrs. Wallace G. Teeple in Harrisville, at four o'clock Saturday afternoon, August 23, when her daughter B. Aylene, became the bride of Albert H. Warner, of Cass City. Multi-colored Gladioli formed a beautiful setting for the ceremony which was attended by immediate members of the families. Rev. C. S. Brown was officiating clergyman.
The bride was attended by Mrs. Gerald George as matron of Honor and Miss Marion Sloan as maid of Honor, while Gerald George attended the groom.
The bride was becoming in a wool street length dress of pastel blue and wore a corsage of red rosea. Mrs. George wore pink pastel wool and Miss Sloan, yellow wool, each wearing a corsage of tailsman roses and delphenium.
Following the ceremony the wedding party motored to Springport Resort where a wedding dinner was served. The table was centered with a beautiful wedding cake, shaped as two bells, topped with a miniature bride and groom.
Following the dinner the happy couple left on a wedding trip through the Upper Peninsula.
The groom was a former member of the Harrisville High School faculty and has contracted to teach in the Oscoda High School this year. The bride is employed as Clerk of the Alcona County Road Commission.
Mrs. Jos. Miller, Sr. was a guest at the wedding. Out of town relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. David Orr and daughter, Sally, of Caro and Mr. and Mrs. Doras Remington, of Flint. The ladies are sisters of the Groom.
