Placement of township hall.

Editor Alcona County Review.
We have had an exciting time here today about the location of our Town Hall--should it be built in the cedar swamp or in the village of Alcona. There was a great deal of "contrariness" used, and the result was that the village voters left the polls and the majority of votes carried the day. Now, when our friends come to see us, they will either have to do as they always have done--see us at the school house--or travel five or six miles into the woods to find our town hall. Our backwoods friends have no respect for their handsome little town of Alcona.
