Uriah Emerson cuts a lot of wood in one day.

Another Fish(?) Story.
Uriah Emerson tells it for a fact. He says that one day last week, he, with his brother Asa, left home at about quarter to 8 a.m., walked four miles, filed his saw, fell the trees, sawed, split and piled six cords stove wood, and walked home again, arriving at 5 p.m. He also in the time took 1 1/4 hours nooning. Uriah stakes his honor on this statement.
