The Catholics are expanding their church.
Church Enlargement.
The Catholic people are soon to materially enlarge and improve their church edifice in Harrisville. The present building is to be moved back thirty feet from where it now stands, and an addition 20x30 feet, with 20-ft. posts, built on the front. The styles of this new part will be of the gothic order, with belfry, spire, etc. On the interior the building will be neatly finished and have a gallery. Putting the two buildings together a fine, large audience room, 20x60, will thus be secured, which will add to the convenience and comfort of the Catholic people, and give a better appearance to things generally. The contract for building this new compartment, has, we believe, been let to Thos. Budworth and Patrick McGrath, and they will do the work well.
