Died.
On the 27th inst., at the residence of her son-in-law, John Taft, Harrisville, Sarah P. Witter; aged 69 years and 10 months.
The deceased was born in Oswego, N. Y., in November, 1808. About eight years ago, in company with her husband, Lester Witter, who died some three years ago, she removed from Stuben Co., N. Y. and came to Harrisville, where her husband purchased a small farm and they two resided till Mr. W.'s death. The deceased leaves six grown up children--Mrs. Harriet Taft, Mrs. Helen Griswold, Otis and Holmes Witter, Harrisville; D. H. Witter, Manistique, Mich., and David P. Witter, Colorado--all of them share the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
