Fire threatens Perley Silverthorn's house.

FROM ALCONA.
Alcona, June 7th, 1877.
Editor Review.--During the latter part of last Saturday and Sunday the fires raged with great force near the fields and houses of Messrs. Silverthorn and Duggon, and it was with great vigilant watching and diligent hard work at carrying water and placing carpets, etc. on the roofs, that the buildings were saved--the only damage being the burning of about one-half mile of fence belonging to Perley Silverthorn. We wish to offer our most sincere thanks to our neighbors for their kind assistance in fighting the fires, without which we would undoubtedly have been burned out.
