My Trip to the Light-House.

One morning 'twas decided to go to the light-house. I went to one of my playmates and he went with me. We went down to the lake and went in swimming, then we went on till we were pretty near the light-house, and we went swimming again. Then we dressed and went on. When we got to the light-house, I first went to the life saving station and a gentleman showed me over the station. He showed me the life saving boat, life car, life preservers, rubber suit, and a man put one on. When he got through swimming he took off the suit, and he was not wet. One of the curious things I saw was a lantern that gave different lights, that turned on a screw. About this time my friends came and he showed them the things that were in the station. When he got through 'twas dinner time. After dinner I put on one of the life preservers and went in swimming, then we went to the light-house. A man showed us the lamp. Then we started for home.
