Died, in Harrisville, June 14, 1884, Raymond, only son of Robert and Etta Southgate, aged about 2 years. "Ray," as he was familiarly called, was a bright little fellow and had endeared himself to all those who saw and knew him, especially in the parental home. He was too good and pure for the cold unhallowed climate of earth, so the Good Lord, who doeth all things well, transplanted him to the beautiful flower garden of Heaven, where his innocent spirit voice now mingles with the sweet enchanting choruses of the angels. Death was but the beginning of a brighter and happier life with him. May the bereaved parents receive comfort and consolation from Him who alone is able to give it, even Jesus Christ the righteous.
