Marriage of Louis F. Yearn and Minnie Rice on 11/23/1887 in Detroit.
MARRIED.
Yearn--Rice.--At the home of the bride's parents, Capt. and Mrs. W. E. Rice, No. 129 Eighteenth st., Detroit, Nov. 23d, 1887, by the Rev. F. N. Barlow, of Harrisville, Louis F. Yearn, of St. Clair, and Miss Minnie Rice, of Detroit.
--------
The wedding was intended to be private with the exception of a few of the most intimate friends of the parties, yet the bridal pair were the recipients of many rich and valuable presents from their numerous friends present and abroad, and after partaking of a bountiful repast the young couple left for their future home in St. Clair, where they commence life together under the most pleasant auspices.
The bride is well and favorably known in Harrisville and her many friends here and elsewhere, will be delighted to learn that her choice of a husband has fallen upon one who is every way worthy of her. He is engaged in mercantile pursuits, and his employer, Mr. Hubel, of St. Clair, in whose family he has lived for several years, speaks of his character, ability and habits in the most flattering terms and showed his appreciation of his services by magnificent presents.
The best wishes of their large circle of friends and acquaintances will follow them.
