Mrs. Therissa Robinson died at the home of her son, Austin Backus, February 8th at 2 o'clock p.m. from a lingering illness.
Therissa Jane Dederick was born at Port Rowan, Ont., Dec. 27, 1847, where she lived until she married James Russell Backus, March 20, 1866. They came to Michigan about 35 years ago settling in Killmaster, where her husband died. On January 11, 1911, she married Abe Robinson. She leaves to mourn, the husband, son and daughter, Austin B. Backus of Lincoln and Mrs. Wm. Noyes of Hibbing, Minn. Four sisters, Mrs.. Anna Millard of Jackson, Mich., Mrs. Ida Wright of Detroit, Mrs. Dougall McCall of Duluth and Mrs. Miles Holmes of Simcoe, Ont.; also three brothers, C. W. Dederick of Bay City, James W. Dederick of Port Rowan and George Dederick of California. One grand-daughter, Mrs. John Killmaster, of Millersburg.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock from the Baptist church in Lincoln. Burial in the Springport cemetery, Harrisville.
