BLACK RIVER
A very pretty church wedding at which the Rev. Father Poulin of Harrisville officiated, was held in our town last Monday morning at 8:30, when Mr. Geo. La Page led Miss Rosa La Londe to the altar. A fair day and a generous response to the large number of invitations sent out made it one of the largest that our townspeople have witnessed for some time. And to say that they appreciate the presence of these young people in their midst would only be reiterating what they showed by their presence at the wedding and the numerous and varied list of presents that they received magnify the esteem in which they are held. An invited party assembled at the I. O. O. F. Hall in the evening and enjoyed themselves with dancing until the early hours of morning. We can only say with the others who were there that our wish is a long and happy life for them and many blessings along their pathway.
