March 16.--Miss Joyce Gibbs, who has been afflicted with chronic tubercular abscesses for years, died last Tuesday morning. Services were conducted at the home on Wednesday evening, after which the corpse was taken to Harrisville and from there sent to Caro for interment. The deceased had endeared herself to many friends in this community, and who with the mother and family feel her parting keenly. But we trust that our loss is eternal gain to her, as she surely had a long siege of suffering in this life, all of which is buried with the body in its last resting place.
