More on the death of John Bougie.
The June term of the circuit court adjourned Friday noon. The John Bougie will case was put on Thursday morning and considerable testimony was taken, but the case was finally settled out of court. The two children, Mrs. Charles Madison and Charles Bougie, and Mrs. Bougie, the widow of the deceased, each get one-third of the property. Review readers are familiar with the case. John Bougie married in the fall of 1906 and a few months later he died, leaving all his property to his widow, excepting one 40 acres of wild land, which was willed to his son Charles. The heirs contested the will, and this is the case that was up for trial. The estate consisted of valuable farm property located at the north end of Hubbard Lake, estimated to be worth from $8,000 to $10,000.
