The automobile fever is gradually spreading in this locality and it is a safe guess that a half dozen or more new machines will make their appearance here before the season is very old. The first new machine put in an appearance Wednesday, when Capt. Henderson received a Brush runabout from Alpena. Mail carrier Bert Noyes expects to receive a Maxwell in a few days, and Dr. Hill of Mikado, we understand, has also fallen victim to the fever. Mr. Noyes will use his machine on the mail route and patrons of the No. 3 will receive their mail a little earlier in the day than is now the case.
