Later he worked many years at Walkerville, Ont.
In 1872 he married Mrs. Henry Aird, who died several years ago. There are three surviving children from this union, Henry of Walkerville, Mrs. Maude Williams of Alpena and Joseph of Detroit. Also three step-children, Mrs. Grace Silverthorn and Mrs. Rose Lincoln of Harrisville and Mrs. Lillian Fleck of Alpena.
The remains were brought here Saturday and Sunday afternoon funeral services were conducted by the Rev. F. A. Andrews at the home of A. Silverthorn. Interment took place at the South cemetery.
