CHARLES FLECK DIED AT HIS HOME IN ALPENA

The death of Charles John Fleck, 64, well known fisherman, occurred at his late home in Alpena on Wednesday, October 15. He had been ill a year, during the past three months of which he was confined to his bed.
Born in Toledo, Mr. Fleck came to Alpena with his parents at the age of nine years, and made his home there all his life with the exception of a few years spent in Harrisville and Tawas City. In 1883 he was united in marriage to Miss Lillian Aird of Harrisville. He followed the occupation of fishing practically all his life and was well known and respected as one of Alpena's pioneer residents.
Besides the widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Malcomson of Wyandotte, and Mrs. Herbert Wentworth of Detroit, and one sister, Mrs. Barbara Kramer, Toledo, and two half-brothers, Chris Fleck of Mantone, Ind., and Joseph Fleck of South Bend, Ind., and by several grand children.
