More on the marriage of William Henry and Mabel [Hardy] Glover.
HENRY--GLOVER
--------
A quiet wedding took place in late afternoon on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at the Methodist parsonage, when Mabel Glover of Harrisville and William A. Henry of Stockton, California, were united in marriage, Rev. Brown officiating. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. William Atchison of Harrisville.
The bride is well known in Harrisville, having owned and lived for 17 years on the farm now owned by Mrs. A. Seaver. After Mr. Glover's death in Detroit she and her daughter, Wanda, returned to their farm in Fisher District and built her home, where she now resides.
Mr. Henry is a building contractor of Stockton, California.
The couple have been life-long friends. About 30 neighbors and friends gathered in the evening. Pedro was played and a dainty lunch was served by the hostess, and a good time was enjoyed by all.
