Two County Residents Pass Away

The community was shocked early Tuesday morning when it became known that Sam Ginder had died suddenly at his home in Gustin Township.
Mr. Ginder had enjoyed good health and was an active sportsman, and had been hunting the day before his death. Death was caused from heart trouble. Mr. Ginder was a prominent farmer of Gustin Township.
Samuel L. Ginder was born in Ohio, March 24th, 1870, and on April 23rd, 1891, was united in marriage to Sarah E. Ward, of Ohio. They moved to Alcona County, 34 years ago. Seven children are living: Mrs. Guy Day, Daniel Ginder, John Ginder, Harry Ginder, all of Gustin; Mrs. Lulu Pyne, of Rockford, Mich., Edith Fulton and Clinton Ginder of Flint. Mrs. Ginder preceded him in death on March 24th, 1938. One brother of Ohio, also survives.
Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Killmaster Baptist Church, Rev. Miller officiating.
