Miss Minerva Holmes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Holmes of Harrisville, and Clyde Berry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Berry, of Muskegon, were married in St. Mary's church rectory in Muskegon, Saturday, May 6.
Monsignor K. J. Whalen, pastor performed the ceremony at 8 a.m., and the couple was attended by Miss Lillian Holmes, sister of the bride, and Kenneth Rokos, of Muskegon Heights.
The bride, all in white, wore net over taffeta with fitted bodice, full skirt and short puffed sleeves. Her long veil was fastened to a cap ornamented with pearls and she carried a sheaf of lilies.
Her maid of honor was attired in a baby-blue formal designed in chiffon, rose accessories. Her flowers were sweet peas in harmonizing shades.
Breakfast was served to the bridal party, parents of the couple and other immediate relatives at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Marshall, 228 Allen Avenue, brother-in-law and sister of the bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Berry left for a short trip, bride wearing a rose street suit with fur trim and navy accessories. They will be at home after May 8, at 378 Jackson Ave.

On Wednesday night, of last week the Misses Loretta and Lillian Holmes, Mrs. Victor Bean and Mrs. Henry Marshall were hostesses at the home of Mr. Marshall in Muskegon, entertaining with a surprise party and shower for their sister. Bunco was played and dainty refreshments were served.
