More on the marriage of Robert J. Newberry and Lorraine E. Annis.

The marriage of Miss Lorraine E. Annis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. S. Annis of 553 Eastlawn, Detroit, Mich., and Robert J. Newberry of West Los Angeles, California son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Newberry of Harrisville, took place at 7:30 p.m., June 26, 1943 at the Grandview Presbyterian Church, Glendale California. Rev. H. R. Shaffer officiated.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white net over taffeta, with a tulle fingertip veil and wore a heart-shaped tiara. She carried gardenias and stephanotis.
The Maid of Honor was Mrs. E. Taylor, sister of the bride, and Mrs. C. Behm was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Pvt. I. S. Buckler and Tom Hebblethwaite.
The Maid of Honor wore pink net over pink taffeta. Each carried pink and blue flowers.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. Behm.
The groom, who is in the U. S. Army, A.S.T. Unit is stationed at the University of California, Los Angeles.
