A huge cast iron Bell, relic from the Sturgeon Point Coast Guard Station was donated to the Scrap Iron Drive through the Lions Club, by Lloyd Hilliard. The bell has been stolen from the scrap pile. This was a prized possession of the late Wm. Hilliard, who served at the Point Station for over thirty years and would not have been disposed of for any consideration other than to aid the War Effort. It is asked that it be returned to the scrap pile for this purpose.
