Glennie Man Killed; Pinned Under Fallen Structure
--------
George A. Steele, caretaker of the W. C. Muilenburg farm east of Glennie, was killed Wednesday evening when a rabbit hutch was blown down by the high wind, pinning him to the ground.
Mrs. Steele began a search for her husband about four o'clock and becoming alarmed at his disappearance, called on neighbors to aid in searching for him, but to no avail. Shortly after midnight with flashlight in hand, Mrs. Steele again searched the premises and found the body under the fallen hutch.
Coroner W. F. Carle, and Sheriff Adair were called. Death was pronounced accidental.
Mr. Steele was born in Breckenridge, Michigan, April 19, 1898. He was a veteran of World War I.
