Body Of Mikado Soldier

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lee of Mikado, received a telegram from the War Department Friday, stating that the body of their son, P.F.C. Basil Lee, had arrived in the United States from Europe. Interment will be made in the Military Cemetery at New England, Indian, which is the nearest to the parental home of the deceased hero.
The family, who are unable to attend funeral services in Indiana will be notified of the date and hour of the services, and rites may be read at the same time at their local church in Mikado, if they desire.
P.F.C. Basil Lee was killed in action in the invasion of Normandy, on D-Day, June 6, 1944.
