Charles Aldrich, a long time resident of Glennie, died Wednesday morning at the County Infirmary, Harrisville. He was 71 years of age.
Mr. Aldrich had made his home at the Infirmary for the past seven years and had been ill for about two years.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Aldrich and was born in Port Huron on September 18, 1876. He lived for many years on a farm in Curtis Township, and was employed by the Consumers Power Company at the AuSable River dams for some time. He was an amateur boxer in his early years.
There are no survivors.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the Smith Funeral Home in Lincoln. Rev. L. L. Lewis will officiate and burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
