More on the marriage of Harold Weismiller and Margaret Marie Adams.
WEISMILLER--ADAMS
The First Presbyterian Church in Alpena was the scene of a very pretty and impressive wedding, Saturday, June 25, at 2:30 P. M., when Miss Margaret Marie Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Adams of Mikado, and Harold Weismiller, son of Mr. August Weismiller and the late Mrs. Weismiller, also of Mikado, spoke their marriage vows before and altar banked with beautiful flowers. The Rev. Lloyd Burkholder officiated.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was lovely in an aqua suit with white accessories. Her only jewelry was a set of pearls, gift of the bridegroom. She wore a corsage of pink roses and white carnations tied with a white satin ribbon.
The maid of honor, Mrs. John Bielusiak, sister of the bride, was becoming in a lime green suit with white accessories. Her corsage was pink and white carnations. Mrs. Henry Schorfaar was bridesmaid. She wore a pink ensemble, white accessories and a corsage similar to that of the maid of honor. The bride's mother wore a brown bemberg crepe dress for her daughter's wedding, and her corsage was of pink and white carnations.
Johnny Bielusiak and Lyle Adams, brother-in-law and brother of the bride respectively, attended the bridegroom.
After the rites a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, and a dinner was served to the many guests present. A thee-tiered wedding cake, topped by a miniature bride and groom, graces the prettily decorated table.
A wedding dance was held later in the evening with Merkel's Orchestra playing for the dancing.
The young couple left on a weeks honeymoon, through the Upper Peninsula. Upon their return they will make their home in Mikado.
The very best wishes of their many friends go out to the happy young couple toward a long and prosperous married life.
