Lorraine Stortz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stortz of Fairview, became the bride of E. Lewis Arnold, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Arnold of Curran, on Thursday, June 23 at 2:30, in the home of the bride. Rev. Carl O. Joy of Hillman performed the ceremony. David Joy sang "I Love You Truly" and "Always", Mrs. Joy at the piano.
The bride wore an aqua suit, pink and blue flowers, and her mother's pearls, which her mother wore on her wedding day.
The bridesmaid, Janet Parks of Durand, wore a grey suit, with pink and blue flowers.
The best man was Herman Meyers of Byron, Michigan.
The mothers of both the bride and groom wore blue dresses, and pink and blue corsages.
Following the ceremony punch served with ice cream and the wedding cake, from the dining room table, beautifully decorated with flowers and candles.
The bride and groom received many wedding gifts. After the reception they left for their wedding trip.
