Hubbard Lake--On Saturday word came that Charles Ellsworth had passed away in a restaurant in Alpena.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Siegert had taken him and his daughter, Mrs. Clyde Shooks, to town for medical care.
Mr. Ellsworth was life-long resident of Hubbard Lake. He was quiet, retiring and respected by all. He married Emma Brennan.
The widow, an adopted child, Paul Ellsworth, and a daughter, Lucile Shooks, survive.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ellsworth of Centerline, Michigan, came for the funeral, as did Clyde Shooks from Detroit.
The funeral was Tuesday at the M. E. Church with burial in Hubbard Lake Cemetery, Rev. Brooks officiating.
