James Eastom, a resident of Lincoln for many years, died at Alpena Hospital Tuesday morning. He had been in ill health for over a year and had entered the hospital July 28 for treatment.
Mr. Eastom was born November 18, 1876 in Liberty, Ohio. He came to Alcona County in 1904 and lived at Lincoln until five years ago when he moved to Alpena.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Orville of Alpena, a granddaughter, Patricia Anne of Alpena, and a sister, Mrs. Jonas Kave, of New Washington, Ohio.
Funeral services will be from the Wachterhauser Funeral Home at 1:30 p. m. Friday. Rev. W. B. Belk will officiate. Interment will be in the Lincoln Cemetery.
