Death of Amos Harry Wright; burial in Hubbard Lake.

Death came suddenly to Amos Harry Wright at 2:30 p. m. September 4, at Alpena General Hospital following a brief illness.
Mr. Wright was born at Stanhope, New Jersey on October 2, 1887, and came to Hubbard Lake in 1923. He made his home on the west side of the lake where for many years he had been engaged in the real estate business. At the time of his passing he was Director of the Hubbard Lake Sportsmen's and Improvement Association.
His marriage to Esther Backus took place January 24, 1947 at Flint, Michigan.
Surviving Mr. Wright are his widow and a son, Mr. James Harry Wright of Roxbury, Massachusetts.
The body was at the Hunter Funeral Home in Alpena where it remained until 8 a. m. Wednesday when it was taken to St. Annes' Church where services were held at 9 a. m. Burial was at Hubbard Lake Cemetery at 10:30 a. m.
