Death of George Pearce.

George Pearce, aged 55 years, died at 4:30 p. m. on Thursday, October 13, at the Alpena General Hospital. He had been taken to the hospital two days before his death from his home in Gustin Township. death resulted from a paralytic stroke.
Mr. Pearce was born in Huron County on August 14, 1894. He had lived in Gustin Township for 21 years. He had never married.
A veteran of World War I, he was a member of the 32nd Red Arrow Division.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Anna Lemon of Lincoln, Margaret Rush of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Adolph Pearce of Wellington, Ohio, and Joseph Pearce of Lincoln, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held from the Smith Funeral Home in Lincoln Monday at two o'clock, Rev. Claire Gleason of the Lincoln Baptist Church officiating. Burial in Twin Lakes Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Howard Apsey, Rollie Somers, Eugene Byce, Stanley Bolton, Walter Bujak and Charles Skuse.
