Heart Attack Fatal To
Percy A. Elliott, Aged 40

A sudden heart attack claimed the life of Percy A. Elliott on Christmas Eve at his home in Williams Lake, Pontiac, Michigan. He had been helping his family decorate their Christmas tree and had sat down in a chair when death came instantly.
Percy was born on May 3, 1909 in Harrisville, the youngest child of the late Robert and Sarah Elliott. He attended the Harrisville school through the twelfth grade, graduating on May 27, 1926, with a class of twelve members. He married Lillian Davies in 1933 and they established their home in Detroit.
In May 1928 he began employment as Secretary to the Manager of the Highland Park branch of the Briggs Manufacturing Company. At the time of his death he was General Superintendent of Receiving and Inspection for Briggs Industries.
His bereaved widow and two children, James Elliott, age 13, and Susan, 6, survive, as do one sister, Blanch Elliott, and two brothers, Roy O. Elliott of East Tawas.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon from the Donelson-Johns Funeral Home in Pontiac with burial in Acacia Park Cemetery. Rev. W. B. Bassett was officiating clergyman.
